1. Information handled by the portal
Public examination notices and these policy pages can be viewed without signing in. When you register or apply, the portal handles information needed for the relevant service, which may include:
- Your verified DigiLocker identity, name, date of birth, and photograph when supplied by DigiLocker.
- Aadhaar information provided during registration, email address, mobile number, and account records.
- Application details such as address, qualifications, category, disability information where applicable, photograph, signature, and supporting documents.
- Declarations, eSigned application documents, signature verification records, and application status and withdrawal history.
- Payment order IDs, payment IDs, fee amounts, payment method, verification status, receipts, and technical records needed for security and troubleshooting.
2. Why information is used
Information is used to authenticate applicants, maintain accounts, process applications, verify eligibility and documents, obtain eSignatures, reconcile payments, issue examination documents, communicate service updates, and handle support requests.
Application and payment records also support departmental scrutiny, audit, grievance handling, and prevention of duplicate applications or misuse. These purposes continue where necessary after an application is withdrawn.
3. Departmental access and service providers
Relevant information is made available to authorised recruiting and processing authorities for their assigned responsibilities. DigiLocker is used for identity verification, the IAM eSign service for signing documents, and Razorpay for processing and verifying payments. These providers handle information required for their services under their own policies.
Payment credentials are entered through the payment provider’s checkout. The portal does not ask you to submit card PINs, CVVs, UPI PINs, or payment OTPs in application fields or support emails. Information may also be disclosed where required for authorised audit, investigation, or applicable legal requirements.
4. Cookies and browser storage
The portal uses session cookies and browser storage to maintain authentication, protect requests, and remember interface preferences. Disabling these features may prevent registration, login, or other services from working correctly. Third-party identity, signing, and payment pages may use cookies under their own policies.
5. Protection and retention
The portal uses access controls, authenticated requests, protected document storage, and encryption for sensitive account information such as stored Aadhaar numbers. Protect your device and do not share login codes or account access.
Records are retained for recruitment processing, verification, audit, grievance resolution, and applicable record-keeping requirements. Withdrawal does not erase the original application, signed documents, payment records, or withdrawal reason. Retention and disposal are managed by the responsible authorities according to the requirements applicable to those records.
6. Corrections and privacy questions
Review your information before submission. If you need assistance with inaccurate information, account access, or a privacy concern, contact the responsible examination authority or the portal contact below. Identity verification may be necessary before a request can be addressed, and records required for an examination, audit, or other official purpose may need to be retained.
For application withdrawal and the treatment of fees, see the Terms of Use and Refund Policy.
Contact and assistance
For eligibility, application, examination, payment reconciliation, or withdrawal queries, contact the authority listed in the examination’s official advertisement. Include your application number and, for payment queries, the order ID and payment ID.
For portal-related technical issues or questions about these policies, email director@ditc.nagaland.gov.in. Do not send passwords, OTPs, full card details, or unmasked Aadhaar documents by email.
